Fans of the series have been through a roller coaster of emotions since Paresh Rawla confirmed Kartik Aaryan’s role in the upcoming film and Akshay Kumar made it public that he would not be in it. But there is finally some good news! The filming for Hera Pheri has begun, and Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar, and Suniel Shetty are in it.

Yes! You read that correctly! Raju, Shyam, and Baburoa are back on the set of Hera Pheri 3 to work on the movie. OG Hera Pheri actors Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal have started filming Hera Pheri 3 today in Mumbai, according to a report by Pinkvilla. The report said that a source said, “The original cast of Hera Pheri is getting back together to continue this cult franchise.” Even though there have been a lot of meetings about the script in the last few months, the team is now sure that Hera Pheri 3 will live up to all the hype and excitement surrounding it.

“Everyone, from producer Firoz Nadiadwala to actors Akshay, Paresh, and Suniel, is looking forward to getting back to work as Raju, Shyam, and Baburao,” the source said. Also, no one knows who the director is yet. It’s important to note that the first Hera Pheri was also shot at Empire Studios in Mumbai in 1999.
