Alia Bhatt ‘nervous’, Vijay Varma ‘excited’ as they start for ”Darlings”

Alia Bhatt just announced her directorial debut with the film Darlings.’ According to the most recent news, the ‘Raazi’ actress has begun filming her debut film.

Alia shared a series of monochromatic photos from her beauty van as she prepares for the ‘Darlings’ shoot on her Instagram account today!

In the photos, Alia is seen on her makeup van, sitting in a chair in front of the mirror, reading the film’s screenplay.

“Day one of DARLINGS!” Alia captioned the photos on Instagram.

Although this is my first picture as a producer, I will always be a performer first and foremost (in this case a very nervous actor)

I’m not sure what it is, but the night before I start a new film, I get a nervous tingling sensation all over my body… I dream all night about messing up my lines… I feel jittery… I arrive 15 minutes early for fear of being late!

I suppose this sensation will never go away… and it shouldn’t, since being scared… and unsure indicates you care a lot.

P.S. – Please wish me luck (I’ll need it all to keep up with my co-stars @itsvijayvarma @shefalishahofficial @roshan.matthew)”

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt will co-star in ‘Darlings’ alongside Vijay Varma, who previously collaborated with her in ‘Gully Boy’.

Vijay Varma shared a photo of himself from the set of the Red Chillies production on his Instagram account earlier today. He may be seen posing for the camera while holding the ‘Darlings’ clapboard.

On this occasion, the actor dressed in a multicolored jacket, loose jeans, and black and white sneakers. “Very thrilled and delighted to be back on a set again!” Vijay commented with the photo. #Darlings is in the works. Wish me luck, since I’m going to need it to keep up with the raging crowd.

Shefali Shah and Roshan Mathew will also play key parts in ‘Darlings.’ In terms of the film itself, it is centered on the life of a quirky mother-daughter combo who navigates through bizarre circumstances while attempting to find their place in the world.

It will also be co-produced by Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies Entertainment and mark Jasmeet K Reen’s directorial debut with a feature film.

Aside from ‘Darlings,’ Alia will star with Ram Charan and Jr. NTR in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Khatiawadi’ and S. S. Rajamouli’s ‘RRR.’
