Farah Khan and Sonu Sood to recreate Altaf Raja’s ‘Tum to thehre pardesi’

Farah Khan and Sonu Sood have reunited for a new rendition of the popular song ‘Tum to thehre pardesi.’ This song, sung by Altaf Raja, was hugely popular in the 1990s. In their forthcoming song, vocalist Tony Kakkar and Raja will recreate the magic. This repeated version of ‘Tum to thehre pardesi’ will be published on Sonu’s birthday, July 30, according to a news portal.

Sonu will play a farmer-turned-cop in this song, which will be set in Chandigarh. “This song will be unlike anything else I’ve ever shot before. It’s always fantastic to work with Farah,” Sonu had stated in a statement. Farah Khan, who is in charge of this song, has previously worked with Sonu Sood in ‘Happy New Year’.

When Sood was approached about appearing in the music video, he knocked on the choreographer’s house and asked her to direct it. The actress thought Khan would be the perfect person to give the song a fresh spin after working with her on Happy New Year (2014) and Jackie Chan’s Kung Fu Yoga (2017). “Sonu and Farah have been pals since Happy New Year,” a source adds. During the epidemic, their relationship became stronger as they offered personal assistance to those in need. The video will be shot on a set in Chandigarh and in Punjab’s mustard fields. In the video, Farah will combine urban and rural culture.”

Sonu Sood has emerged as a rescuer for many in the past year, as the nation has been ravaged by the plague. Sonu is being praised for his selfless efforts to assist all those in need, and he continues to aid all who seek out to him. All of these events are chronicled in his biography, “I Am No Messiah.” Sonu had said to PTI regarding the lockdown, “It (lockdown) changed my view on life.” 2020 will be remembered as the year in which we all attempted to be the finest versions of ourselves. It (memoir) was my method of preserving those memories for the future.”
