Forensic prep for Vikrant Massey and Radhika Apte

With Radhika Apte and Vikrant Massey, director Vishal Furia has expedited the planning for his next film, Forensic. The filmmaker has been working hard to finalize the specifics of his film, which will be released in Uttarakhand in a few weeks, while awaiting the release of Chhori, starring Nushratt Bharuchha, and Bali, starring Swapnil Joshi. Actors have already begun rehearsing for their roles. Radhika will portray a cop, while Vikrant will portray a forensic specialist.

“I don’t believe in putting my collaborators through hardships. It’s more of a collective effort in my opinion. Characters have their own problems, weaknesses, and story arcs, which all play out in a predictable manner. “I always insist on the performers putting their own spin on what’s written and developing the identity of their characters,” Vishal says, adding, “We’re in the process of achieving that properly.” Aside from learning and mending the nitty-gritty, the character has a skill set that corresponds to his or her job.

For example, Vikrant’s character has a certain delicacy and is like a craftsman. Vikrant is learning the art and ability to identify evidence on a crime scene from specialists who are preparing him for the role. Radhika plays a cop in the film, and she’s been bombarding me with questions about her role, which is fantastic. Vikrant is learning the ins and outs of being a member of the forensic team. He is a method actor who strives for perfection in whatever he does. So, for me, working with actors is a collaborative process in which we explore the roles together.

We’re approaching this as if it were a new picture. I saw the original a long time ago and had basically forgotten about it. I haven’t shown the original to Radhika or Vikrant. It adds a sense of freshness to the film.”
