Priyanka Chopra says she left Bollywood for “beef” with people

Prior to her role as Priyanka Chopra in the 2015 television series Quantico, when PC was attempting to break into the music industry internationally, she appeared in a few music videos. PC tried to show off her singing talent with songs like “In My City” and “Exotic,” but she eventually turned her attention to her movie career in the West. In a recent interview, Priyanka discussed her decision to move to the West despite being among the top Hindi film actors.

Since she was trying to find ways to get away from Bollywood, Priyanka revealed that she seized the chance with both hands. I was being backed into a corner inside the industry, she said (Bollywood). People weren’t casting me, I had conflicts with people, and since I’m not very good at the game, I was kind of sick of politics and declared that I needed to take a break.

Priyanka previously discussed in an interview how there was a time when individuals in the Indian film industry did their best to prevent her from working. During her appearance on The Ranveer Show, she said, “I have had people wanting to jeopardize my career, take away from my work, and make sure I wasn’t cast just because I had been successful in what I was doing.”
