Ranbir Kapoor claims that Brahmastra was reshot at the request of Rajamouli’s father

Ranbir Kapoor has said that Ayan Mukerji incorporated alterations proposed by SS Rajamouli’s father, KV Vijayendra Prasad, after viewing Brahmastra.

Ranbir Kapoor has disclosed that director Ayan Mukerji changed the script for their next film Brahmastra after receiving feedback from SS Rajamouli’s father, KV Vijayendra Prasad. Among those who appear in Brahmastra are Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna, and Amitabh Bachchan.

On September 9, Brahmastra will be shown in theatres. On Tuesday, Ranbir and Ayan were in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, to promote the film, when he discussed the adjustments. Ranbir further mentioned that Ayan reshot the film for four days due to the changes in the script.

According to a Pinkvilla post, Ranbir said, “After your father saw the film. After getting advice from SS Rajamouli’s father, Ayan forced us to reshoot for four days. This is due to his high regard for him, and we are all appreciative of his participation in our picture.”

Brahmastra is a mythology-inspired fantasy trilogy starring Ranbir and Alia as major characters Shiva and Isha. Amitabh portrays Professor Arvind Chaturvedi, while Nagarjuna plays Ajay Vashisht, an archaeologist. Damayanti is the name of Mouni’s character.

Alia was unable to attend the ceremony, but she sent a video greeting to her Visakhapatnam fans. She had a special message for Ranbir Kapoor as well. “I truly wish I could be there today with everyone,” she stated in the video. I’m missing the whole crew, especially Ayan and Ranbir. But I’m present in spirit, and particularly in Ranbir’s heart.” She is making her Hollywood debut outside of India.

Alia is now working on the Netflix thriller Heart of Stone, in which she co-stars with Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. The espionage thriller is directed by Tom Harper and stars Matthias Schweighofer, Sophie Okonedo, Jing Lusi, and Paul Ready. Alia also has Ranveer Singh, Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, and Dharmendra in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
