Ranveer Singh wants to protect Lalit Modi and Sushmita Sen from the ‘evil eye,’ he says

On Thursday, Lalit Modi’s social media posts about Sushmita Sen made headlines. He has claimed to be in a relationship with the actress and former Miss Universe, but she has yet to respond. Several Bollywood celebrities, including Ranveer Singh and Shilpa Shetty, have responded to Lalit Modi’s Instagram post.

On Thursday, Lalit Modi posted several romantic photos with Sushmita and captioned them, “Just back in London after a whirling global tour #maldives #sardinia with the families – not to mention my #betterlooking partner @sushmitasen47 – a new beginning a new life finally.” I’m overjoyed. Yet, falling in love does not imply marriage. But one that, by God’s grace, will take place. “I have just announced that the two of us are dating.”

Ranveer commented on Lalit’s post with a heart emoticon and a Nazar amulet. In response to the post, cricketer Harbhajan Singh posted a heart emoticon and a lightning icon. The post was also ‘liked’ by Shilpa Shetty and celebrity stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania. Nandita Mahtani, a designer, also used heart and hug emojis.

Sushmita appears to be on vacation, as she has been sharing beautiful photos from her trips to the Maldives and Sardinia. She recently posted a stunning video from an infinity pool in the Maldives to Instagram, captioning it, “I want YOU to know… you’re the love of my life.”

Sushmita recently told Twinkle Khanna for Tweak India that she came close to marrying three times but that “the men were a letdown.” “Fortunately, I met some very interesting men in my life; the only reason I never married was that they were a letdown,” she said.

She went on to say, “Before God stopped me from doing so, I was on the edge of getting married three different times. I am unable to provide any light on what became of their lives after that event. Because God is looking out for these two kids, he won’t let me get engaged in a situation that could turn complicated.”

Sushmita was in a relationship with model Rohman Shawl for several years before the couple split up a few months ago. The two are still on good terms. Sushmita, too, is a single mother with two daughters, Renee and Alisah.
