Regarding the O Maahi filming

Last week, Shah Rukh Khan travelled to the United Arab Emirates to film the promotional dance number Dunki’s special song, which was meticulously crafted. To return in time for the grand première of his daughter Suhana Khan’s debut film The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar and which debuted last Thursday on Netflix India, he completed the shoot in less than three days.

Mid-Day cites a source with knowledge of the situation as saying, “Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani had meticulously planned it so that he could complete filming the song within three days and return in time for the Tuesday night premiere of Suhana Khan’s film.” A limited crew filmed the number on the fringes of Abu Dhabi. As SRK is well-known in the UAE, rumours have it that the song filming generated considerable interest among his local supporters.

In addition to Shah Rukh, the ensemble cast of Dunki consists of Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover, who each portray a vibrant character. Dunki, an undertaking supported by Jio Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films, is scheduled for theatrical release on December 21, coinciding with the Christmas holiday. The film is produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan, and is co-written by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon.
