Shehnaaz Gill on Uunchai: ‘I cried a lot, it’s a very good picture’

Before the release of Anupam Kher’s upcoming action-adventure flick Uunchai, his acting school, The Actor Prepares, hosted a special screening of the film. The special screening of the Amitabh Bachchan-starring film on Wednesday night was attended by a multitude of stars, including Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Kajol, Madhuri Dixit, Rani Mukerji, Kangana Ranaut, Riteish Deshmukh, and Shenaaz Gill are among those who have appeared in the film. Shehnaaz was contacted by paparazzi after viewing the film, despite the event’s red carpet being filled with celebrities. As she left the theatre, the actress, who is about to make her Bollywood debut in a Salman Khan film, became tearful. Upon being asked how the film was, Shehnaaz disclosed that she cried in the hallway and recommended that everyone watch it.

Paparazzo Viral Bhayani uploaded a video of Shanaaz Gill leaving the movie theatre to his official Instagram account. In the video, a voice can be heard from behind the camera asking the former Bigg Boss competitor how she liked the film and if she sobbed during the viewing. Shenaaz readily admitted that she sobbed frequently. Shehnaaz expressed her emotions by stating, “I am so sad. Bahut acchi image hai. Sabko dekhni chahiye. (I have shed many tears. It is an excellent flick. I believe that everyone should view it.)” Shehnaaz shared the film’s message at the video’s conclusion. She told me that this was a message to let me know that I could do things that seemed unattainable. (The film’s message is that impossible undertakings can be accomplished)”.

After seven long years, Sooraj Barjatya is making his directorial return with Uunchai. A Severalell-known actors, including Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta, Sarika, and Parineeti Chopra, are featured prominently in the film. Uunchai, a film about a group of friends who plan to climb Mount Everest, will be released in theatres on November 11.

Shehnaaz was most recently featured in the Punjabi film Honsla Rakh, in which she shared screen time with singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh. Next, the actress will make her Bollywood debut alongside Salman Khan in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The film also has Pooja Hegde in the pivotal role. The film is anticipated to be released by the end of the year.
