Stree sequel surprises Rajkummar Rao: “Nobody has talked to me about it yet.”
Rajkummar Rao was astonished to learn that a sequel to his blockbuster horror comedy Stree has been planned, and he has stated that he has not been contacted about it. This news comes days after Shraddha Kapoor stated that production on Stree 2 will shortly commence.
Stree, a 2018 film starring Rajkummar and Shraddha in the major roles, was an unexpected box office smash. Ao Kabhi Haveli Pe, a unique song performed by Kriti Sanon in the film, was also quite famous.
Rajkummar stated in an interview with Amar Ujala that no one has approached him about the upcoming film Stree 2. A follow-up film to the critically acclaimed and commercially successful film “Stree” should be produced. I have not released an official statement about the project because no one has yet approached me about it.
Since Shraddha Kapoor unveiled her special song from the next Maddock Films film, Bhediya, people have speculated that she may appear in Stree 2. She uploaded behind-the-scenes footage from the shoot for the song Thumkeshwari and remarked, “Super atmosphere, it’s so good to be back on set. The second season of Stree is scheduled to begin filming very, very soon.
In an interview with the Asian Age published in 2019, directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK announced that they will produce a second and third installment of Stree. The third and fourth sections will be built without a doubt, and in a short amount of time. We are accumulating ideas. In addition, we will create a sequel to Go Goa Gone. We believe that we are well ahead of our time. “Many individuals have commended our unusual approach to filmmaking.”
Rajkummar Rao anticipates the release of his forthcoming flick, Monica O My Darling. The film also stars Sikander Kher, Huma Qureshi, and Radhika Apte and was directed by Vasan Bala. The film also features Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, Bagavathi Perumal, Sukant Goel, and Zayn Marie Khan. On November 11, the film becomes digitally available on Netflix.
