Swara Bhasker will portray a cop in Mimamsa, a murder mystery.

The genre of murder mystery has always piqued people’s interest, and actress Swara Bhasker is back in the character of an investigating officer. Mimamsa, which is produced by Moffy Production and co-produced by K.P Production, promises to keep you on the edge of your seat as it takes you on a journey through a murder mystery. Gagan Puri will direct the film, which will also star Bijendra Kala.

This will be her second appearance as a cop, following the critical acclaim for Flesh. She will play Adhira Dixit in the film, which will be set in Bhopal. “The experience of filming for the movie was one of a kind since it kept me involved throughout the production and I am sure that the audience will be as well when they get to see it,” Swara added. This was also the first film I filmed following the lockdown last year, so it holds a particular place in my heart, and it has helped me feel grateful for the work I do. Without giving too much away, I’ll simply say that the film will take you on a multi-layered, intriguing, and ultimately satisfying trip.

“We have attempted to retain a feeling of mystery about the movie, and with brilliant performers like Swara and Bijendra on board, it just adds to the hype,” director Gagan Puri added. Viewers will be able to enjoy the film the most if little information about it is provided, allowing them to enjoy it from a new viewpoint.”
