Tabu discusses her connection with Ajay Devgn and her acting roles

Over the course of her career, Bollywood actress Tabu has given a number of iconic performances, and she continues to do so. She has also played the part of a police officer in a few movies. She was recently seen in the movie Bholaa with Ajay Devgn, where she played an IPS officer named Diana Joseph. In a new interview, she starts talking about her relationship with Ajay Devgn and gives more details about her role.

Tabu and Ajay Devgn have worked together on a number of movies. When asked if she now knows exactly how to work with and around him without being told much, Tabu told ETimes, “Yes, I know precisely what he would like. I know his moods, who he is, and how he moves. I know him as a person. I know what he likes, what he doesn’t like, how he works, and what he wants to say, even though he doesn’t say much. Working with him is easy. I know when to leave him alone, depending on whether he is nervous or calm. Isiliye shayad mujhe aisa lag nahi raha hai ki maine kisi director ke saath kaam kiya hai, also because he’s acting in the film, it was fun. As actors, we’ve done a lot of work. In recent movies like De De Pyaar De, Golmaal Again, and the Drishyam series, we were paired up in interesting ways, and since 2015, our journey has been very strong. It occupies its own space that is solid. I think these movies have worked out well for all of us.”

After Drishyam and Kuttey, Tabu played a cop again in Bholaa, which was directed by Ajay Devgn. When asked what makes her want to play strong women in uniform, Tabu said, “Filmmakers gave me these roles because they thought I would’ve been good at them, and I’ve loved playing them.” Also, I liked the roles, except that they were all police officers.
