Unseen footage from the film is revealed in the Adipurush song “Jai Shri Ram,” which features Prabhas leading the vaanar sena to Raavan’s Lanka

Adipurush

The first song from the highly popular film Adipurush, titled “Jai Shri Ram,” was released on Saturday. The release of Adipurush, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan, has been delayed due to criticism over the film’s visual effects. The film will finally be released next month, with improved visual effects, some of which are teased in the new music video.

The song provides a taste of the film’s drama and action. The song successfully establishes the epic film’s tone, from the regal depiction of Hanuman (who blazes Raavan’s (Saif Ali Khan) kingdom to the ground) to the historic sight of Ram and his great vaanar sena (who pave a road to Lanka across the ocean) from the shores of India. Sita (Kriti Sanon) may be seen in the music video, waiting for Ram to come to Lanka. Lakshman, Sugriv, and Vali are only a few of the major characters who are briefly introduced in the song.

The song was debuted during a launch event on Saturday, and its composers, Ajay-Atul, said they wrote it in four days. They remarked, “We know this song will instantly immerse audiences in our film’s setting.” This was our initial attempt at writing music for Adipurush. After four days, we saw Om Raut again and heard his vision. The strength and devotion for Jai Shri Ram, the name’s deity, came from deep inside. This had never happened to us before, yet nevertheless we managed to write an entire song in just four days. The time has arrived to demonstrate the strength of the score. We were going for a marching-band kind of vibe.
