Vidya Balan: “I think I was at the right location at the right moment.”
Vidya Balan continues to hold the fort on popular female-led films with a very powerful, unique, and yet another sturdy character in hand with Sherni. The actress has always offered the audience a taste of something different, and fans are looking forward to seeing her portray a forest cop in her upcoming film.
“Honestly, it’s not like I planned to do it,” Vidya Balan said of her professional path and decisions, “but I always wanted to do work that meant something to me, work that is an extension of my views, work that would thrill and delight me, and so I went ahead and made the choices that I did.”As a result, I believe I was at the right location at the right moment, and not only did it work for me, but it also began to alter things for Hindi film, though I cannot take credit for any of it. But, sure, it’s been a thrilling and rewarding ride thus far, and I’m hoping it just gets better from here.”
Other diverse performers such as Sharat Saxena, Mukul Chadha, Vijay Raaz, Ila Arun, Brijendra Kala, and Neeraj Kabi will be seen in crucial parts in Sherni, which stars Vidya Balan as the lead. The film is produced by T-Series and Abundantia Entertainment and directed by Amit Masurkar, who is best known for his highly praised film Newton.
