Abhishek Malhan, one of the strongest candidates to win the second season of Bigg Boss OTT, was hospitalised on Sunday, according to his sister. According to Prerna Malhan, Abhishek became “very ill” and required hospitalisation.

On Monday, Abhishek, Elvish Yadav, Manisha Rani, Bebika Dhurve, and Pooja Bhatt will vie for victory in the main finale of BB OTT 2, which will be hosted by Salman Khan.

Prerna claims that Abhishek, alias Fukra Insaan, will be unable to perform at the finale. She requested that his admirers pray for his speedy recovery prior to the final performance.

“I’ve just learned that Abhishek is quite ill and likely hospitalised. Therefore, he will not be able to perform tonight. He has thoroughly entertained us throughout the entire season.

Jiya Shankar was the final contestant eliminated from the reality programme, paving the way for the top five contestants. In an interview with Indianexpress.com, Jiya selected Abhishek as the winner and added that Elvish possessed a “pure heart.” “He is also an approachable person, and I got to know him better as my voyage came to a close. I hope one of them will win.”

Salman Khan hosted the second season of Bigg Boss OTT, which premiered on June 17, 2023 and was scheduled to continue for six weeks on the JioCinema streaming service. However, after observing the audience’s reaction, the performance was extended.

The first season of Bigg Boss OTT was hosted by the filmmaker Karan Johar, and the victor was Divya Agarwal, while the runner-up was Nishant Bhat.
