Alia Bhatt has asked Shah Rukh Khan to join her next producing venture.

Alia Bhatt has begun filming for her next film, ‘Darlings.’ Alia’s Eternal Sunshine Productions will produce the picture, which will be her debut as a producer. She revealed it on her social media accounts, writing, “My first film as a producer, although I’ll always be an actress first and foremost (albeit a nervous one). I don’t know what it is… but the night before I start a new film, I get this anxious tingling sensation all over my body… I worry all night about messing up my lines…I become jittery…I arrive 15 minutes early for fear of being late!”

Soon after, Shah Rukh Khan, who is also a co-producer on the movie, commented on her post. The actor requested that Alia cast him on her next project. He also stated that he would be on time for the session and that he would be really professional. His message was as follows: “Please sign me up for your next home production after this one, tiny one. I guarantee to arrive on time for the shoot and to conduct myself in a professional manner.”

‘Darlings’ is a one-of-a-kind narrative about a quirky mother-daughter combo trying to find their place in the world while navigating through strange situations.

Alia Bhatt’s initial tweet included a shot of the actor-producer getting her hair done. “Day one of DARLINGS!” read the caption on the photo. My first film as a producer, but I’ll always be an actor first and foremost (in this instance, a very anxious actor). I don’t know what it is, but the night before I start a new picture, I get this nervous tingling sensation all over my body… I dream about it all night.”

The dark comedy takes place in Mumbai, against the backdrop of a traditional lower-middle-class neighborhood, and follows the lives of two women as they find bravery and love under unusual circumstances.

Jasmeet K Reen will make his feature film directorial debut with this flick.

Gulzar and Vishal Bhardwaj, the legendary lyricist and music director, will reunite to write songs for the film.
