Amitabh Bachchan shares a poem urging fans to prevent Covid

In the midst of the present coronavirus epidemic, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan turned to social media on Sunday to publish a poem asking his fans and followers to take measures against the virus.

Big B shared the poem, which was written in Hindi, on Twitter.

“Suno suno aye duniya walon,” the poem begins, “yeh virus ghar dhoond raha hai; aur uska ghar hai insaan ke phepre, lungs!” Khabardar! Ghar mein ghusne na do usse, darwazein khidkiyan sab bandh kar do! Mask pehno aur duree banaye rakkho dusron se, bhid se, party se rakkho dusron se, bhid se, party se! Aur haan, hath-wath dhote rehna rehna rehna rehna rehna rehna rehna rehna Ok! (Hear me out, global citizens; this virus is seeking for a place to call home, and it has found it in human lungs! Beware!Close all the doors and windows, and don’t allow it inside the house! Wear a mask and keep a safe distance between you and other people, crowds, and parties! And, sure, wash your hands frequently! Ok!)”

Big B recently tweeted words of thanks for physicians for their noble work, especially amid the current epidemic, on National Doctors’ Day.

“On National Doctors Day… salutations and great pride for the Doctors of India, IMA who have battled and continue to combat this dreadful illness, selflessly and at tremendous personal danger… in the service of the Country and mankind,” he wrote.

“Hope isn’t a plan,” says the author. The author intended to convey the idea that deeds speak louder than words. Yes, there is some sloppy logic, but, as many wise saints have said, hope is not a start- it is sometimes overdone, and we lose the objective of hope. Yes, hope isn’t a plan in and of itself, but when hope directs our actions, wonderful things may happen,” he added.
