Anushka Sharma

Anushka Sharma disclosed to a magazine that she is somewhat reclusive and socially shy. The actor stated that she does not enjoy attending parties. Anushka stated that she prefers to invite a few close friends to her home for supper and prepare home-cooked food. Anushka, who has worked with Katrina Kaif in films such as Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012) and Zero (2018), recalls what it was like when Katrina and her husband, actor Vicky Kaushal, invited her and her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli, to their home for dinner.

Katrina and Vicky Kaushal, who married in December 2021, are Anushka and Virat’s neighbours. Anushka recounted that when Katrina and Vicky invited her and Virat over, she told Katrina that supper is at 6:00 p.m. The actor stated that Katrina then made a joke about snacking as Anushka and Virat dined.

Anushka told Grazia India, “Katrina and Vicky have invited us to their house, but we have dinner at six o’clock and go to bed at nine thirty. So I told Katrina Kaif that we will eat for you between 7 and 7:30 p.m., but we must go shortly. So mother agrees that you will eat supper while Vicky and I will have snacks.”

Anushka went on to say that, like Katrina, Shah Rukh Khan recognises her ‘awkwardness’ and no longer invites her to his events since she no longer appreciates loud, boisterous gatherings. In the same interview, she remarked of Katrina and Shah Rukh, “The two of them genuinely realise that I’m socially awkward, and they embrace me as such. That is the kindest thing anyone in the world can do.” Anushka, Katrina, and Shah Rukh appeared in two films together: Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Zero, which was Anushka’s final film in a leading role. She recently appeared in the Netflix film Qala in a cameo role (2022). She was featured in Ghodey Pe Sawaar. Chakda Xpress will be Anushka’s first project since the birth of her daughter Vamika.
