At pre-Oscars event with Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra shines in white

Before the Oscars, Priyanka Chopra posted a bunch of photos of her outfit for the South Asian Excellence event. She hosted the incident with her husband Nick Jonas and her friend and fellow actor Mindy Kaling. She wore a white dress with a lot of ruffles.

In a discussion with ET at the event, Priyanka talked about how movies show South Asian people “I’m so glad we were able to not only come back, but also do it in such a great way and have Paramount Pictures host us. This is, like, a big deal. And to be capable of looking around and seeing my peers and coworkers who have hustled and worked hard for years to get a moment that’s just for them, well, it makes me want to cry.”

She remarked regarding Mindy, “I mean, we call each other when bad things happen and talk mostly about those things. And I’ve noticed that while we may meet at Holi or Diwali parties or other social gatherings, we actually call each other when things get dicey. We then say, “I don’t feel good about this. She supports me as I go. I’m not feeling good about it, she says. It’s wonderful to know that girls support one another. Especially having that with someone who is from the same area as me. It’s wonderful to have that even though our cultural experiences are very different.”

She claimed that Malti, their daughter, was dozing off at home. “She is dozing. God is good, “said Priyanka. “Can you picture it? No, daddy and mommy are going out tonight.”

Nick and Priyanka were seen together at the Valentino show during Paris Fashion Week. Nick wore a brown suit, and she wore a bright pink dress. This year, the Telugu movie RRR is up for an Oscar in the category for Best Original Song. All That Breathes and Elephant Whisperers are also up for Best Documentary and Best Documentary Short. Deepika Padukone will be one of the people giving out awards at the event.
