Atrangi Re Akshay Kumar’s New Movie to release on OTT

Akshay Kumar recently grabbed the internet by storm after making an official statement about the release dates of his forthcoming films Atrangi Re’. The Maharashtra government declared on Saturday that the state’s theatres will reopen on October 22nd.

Akshay Kumar quickly informed fans of the release date of his much-anticipated film ‘Sooryavanshi,’ in which he co-stars Katrina Kaif. With films like “Prithviraj,” “Bachchan Pandey,” “RakshaBandhan,” and “Ram Setu,” the actor has scheduled dates for this year and next year. But Akki hasn’t said anything about the film ‘Atrangi Re,’ which also stars Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush. They’ve already finished filming.

In a recent interview with an entertainment website, Akshay revealed details about the film and its release date. He stated that the team is presently exploring a digital release of ‘Atrangi Re.’ He went on to say that they are presently debating whether the film should be released theatrically or on-demand. When asked about the film, Akshay described it as having a “amazing” and “never-heard-before” plot.

Finally, Akshay stated that he supports both OTT and theatre releases, adding that the channel of release should be determined by what is best for the picture.

Meanwhile, Akshay is presently filming in London for the film “Cinderella.” Following the success of ‘Bell Bottom,’ the actor began filming for the project. But he had to return to Mumbai since his mother, Aruna Bhatia, was hospitalized. His mother died not long after he came. The actor and his family flew to London after performing the ceremonies.
