Ayushmann Khurrana thrilled to go for ‘Doctor G’ in Bhopal

Ayushmann Khurrana is presently filming his next film, ‘Doctor G,’ in Bhopal, and he stated that this is his first time shooting in the city of lakes!

“I’m happy that I picked acting as a profession since it has allowed me to live so many great personalities and taken me to so many incredible locations,” Ayushmann added.

He said, “I’m lucky, Doctor G, to be visiting the heart of India and witnessing it in all of its grandeur. For the first time in my career, I’m filming in Bhopal, and the city of lakes is stunning. I’m blown away by the people’s kindness, and they’ve won my heart for life.”

The ‘Vicky donor’ actor, who was in the North East for the filming of his forthcoming film ‘Anek,’ expressed his gratitude for being born in such a lovely nation.

“I went in the North East earlier this year for Anek and saw the beautiful Kaziranga National Park. The most beautiful country on the globe is India. I consider myself fortunate to have been born in this nation, which has provided me with so many opportunities throughout my life “he stated

On the professional front, Ayushmann has a full slate of projects lined up, including Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui,’ Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Anek,’ and Anubhuti Kashyap’s ‘Doctor G,’ for which he is presently filming opposite Rakul Preet Singh in Bhopal.

In terms of ‘Doctor G,’ the forthcoming film will be set on a medical institute’s campus. Rakul will portray Dr. Fatima, a medical student who will play Ayushmann’s senior in the film, while Ayushmann will play Dr. Uday Gupta.

With the planned production, Anubhuti Kashyap, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s sister, will make her feature film directorial debut. She previously directed the highly praised short film ‘Moi Marjaani’ and the dark comedy mini-series ‘Afsos.’

Anubhuti, Sumit Saxena, Vishal Wagh, and Saurabh Bharat wrote the screenplay. Ayushmann first revealed the project in December with a selfie of himself posing with the screenplay.
