Chandraprakash Dwivedi speaks out on Samrat Prithviraj: “My faith in Akshay Kumar remains unwavering; Aditya Chopra never said anything bad about the film.”

Chandraprakash

Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the director of Samrat Prithviraj, responds to every criticism levelled at the film and its box-office results.

It’s not the first time an actor has worn a fake moustache on screen; there was a disclaimer at the start of the film, and a group wanted to target Akshay Kumar- the director of Samrat Prithviraj, Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi makes all of this clear as he opens up to us on every criticism directed towards his film Samrat Prithviraj.

In response to accusations that the audience boycotted the film because of things Kumar had done in the past, he adds, “Two days after the film’s release, I talked to a “the number of people.” And I kept one thing the same: I never lost faith in Akshay Kumar. I’m working on two additional projects with him, Ram Setu and Oh My God 2. People are twisting my remarks, I believe. “Jisse Mujhe thodi pareshaani hai, voh Apni Taraf see likh rahe hain.”

He goes on to say that he has no beef with Kumar or the film’s producer, Aditya Chopra. According to Chandraprakash Dwivedi, a segment of the audience wanted to attack Kumar, which is why the film fared poorly at the box office. Unhe iss baat se takleef ki film mein log tilak kyun laga rahe hain, auratein bindi kyun nahi laga rahe hain. However, the visual decorations shown on ladies in photographs are a European tradition! But when I attempted to clear the air, these folks became even more irritated.”

Dwivedi responds to critics of the film’s language, saying, “Jis bhaasha ko woh log ‘Urduwood’ ki bhaasha Keh rahe hain, to bhaasha is Desh main jane hai.” We translated Prithviraj Raso (a Braj language epic poem on Prithviraj Chauhan’s life), and the author states that. I wasn’t doing anything unusual. I was astonished that there would be such a discussion about the use of language in Hindi film.”

He claims he has always maintained that the film is based on Prithviraj Raso, of which there are many variations. It’s not clear if Prithviraj Raso is a historical record. Some historians think it is, but others disagree. Even Shyam Benegal Ji, who created an episode for the television series Bharat Ek Khoj based on the Sultanate era and Prithviraj, showed what is displayed in my film. His specialists included historical figures such as Irrfan Habib. Nobody cared to think about it.”

And, in response to reports that Aditya Chopra is blaming Kumar’s lack of devotion, such as not bothering to grow a genuine moustache, Dwivedi chuckles, “Aditya (Chopra) has never mentioned Is this actor’s first fake moustache? On June 2, Aditya and I were together, and Aditya said unequivocally that he is extremely satisfied with the film, that I provided him with all he desired, and that he would never claim that I failed in my duties. The same goes for Akshay.”
