83, starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, is one of the year’s most anticipated films. The pair attended the 83 screening in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, yesterday, December 16. The two took a breather, clasped hands, and gazed in astonishment as the teaser for their film illuminated the world’s tallest structure, the Burj Khalifa.

Yesterday, December 16, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone visited the Red Sea Film Festival. The number 83 is inspired by the Indian cricket team’s World Cup victory in 1983. The audience gave the film a standing ovation after it was shown. A video of the incident was published on Twitter, in which Ranveer can be seen bowing and thanking everyone for their support.

In the film, Ranveer Singh plays Kapil Dev, the captain of the Indian cricket team when it won the World Cup in 1983, while Deepika Padukone plays his wife, Romi.

The movie will be released on December 24th.
