Doctor G first glimpse at Ayushmann Khurrana

Junglee Pictures announced their third partnership with Ayushmann Khurrana in December 2020, following Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017) and Badhaai Ho (2018). Doctor G, in which the actor shares screen time for the first time with Rakul Preet Singh, is now in production. This film is a college comedy-drama directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, in which the two actors portray physicians. SeetaGeeta has obtained an exclusive photo from the set of Ayushmann Khurrana, who is dressed in a doctor’s garb for his role.

“The subject of Doctor G is extremely dear to me,” adds the actor, who is looking forward to shooting the movie. We’ve all been waiting for the film to start because of the lockdown limitations, and we’re pleased it’s finally here. It’s an honor to play a doctor for the first time on television. I’m also quite thrilled to begin filming since it will allow me to revisit my experiences of being a student and living in a hostel. Anubhuti, my director, and I are looking forward to working together.”

Ayushmann talked about the film and expressed his excitement to portray this part. “Doctor G is a subject that is very personal to me. We’ve all been waiting for the film to start because of the lockdown limitations, and we’re pleased it’s finally here. It’s an honor to play a doctor for the first time on television. I’m also quite thrilled to begin filming since it will allow me to revisit my experiences of being a student and living in a hostel. Anubhuti, my director, and I are looking forward to working together.”

Apart from Ayushmann and Rakul, the film also stars Shefali Shah, who was written by Sumit Saxena, Vishal Wagh, and Saurabh Bharat, as well as director Anubhuti Kashyap.

On Sunday, the actor, who is in Bhopal for a Doctor G shoot, posted a photo of the city.
