‘Dune’ trailer: Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya’s new clip

The new trailer for ‘Dune’ has arrived, and it promises to be an exciting thriller centered on the narrative of Paul Atreides, a mythological and emotionally charged hero.

To guarantee the future of his family and people, the hero, a smart and gifted young man born into a tremendous destiny beyond his comprehension, must journey to the most hazardous planet in the cosmos.

As evil factions clash for the world’s sole supply of the most valuable substance on the globe – spice – it holds the key to humanity’s highest potential.

Timothee Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgard, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, and Javier Bardem feature in the almost 2-minute-long trailer for the film. The film is based on Frank Herbert’s landmark science fiction book of the same name, which will have its global debut at the Venice Film Festival.

The video teases strong performances from all of the actors and intriguing dialogues, stunning graphics, and a compelling plot. The video has it all, from powerful background music that complements the movie’s speed to some dramatic performances, so it’s safe to assume that fans are in for a visual treat.

‘Dune,’ directed by Denis Villeneuve, has a new release date of October 22, 2021, which happens to be the same day as ‘The French Dispatch,’ both films starring Chalamet. This is the latest setback for Denis Villeneuve’s ‘Dune.’ Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the highly anticipated film was initially scheduled for December 18, 2020, but was postponed nearly a year to 2021.

Warner Bros. shocked the industry by announcing in late 2020 that it will release its full 2021 slate of pictures simultaneously in theatres and on an OTT channel for a limited period.

These films and forthcoming releases such as “The Suicide Squad” and “The Matrix 4” are likely to stick to that schedule.
