Karan Johar is back to his old tricks, calling the shots! On the occasion of Ranveer Singh’s birthday, the filmmaker Karan’s revealed that he will direct the actor and Alia Bhatt in an appealing romantic epic about love and family. “Thrilled to go behind the lens with my favorite people in front of it!” Karan Johar said on Twitter, revealing information about his directorial debut. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, is directed by Ishita Moitra and written by Shashank Khaitan and Sumit Roy. It is, after all, a love story, but it isn’t your typical love narrative. Rocky and Rani will take you on a trip that will alter your expectations of love stories!”Karan Johar also stated that the remainder of the film’s cast would be announced later today.

Ranveer Singh also revealed the film’s contents in a post, writing, “On my special day, I have special news! Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy wrote Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which stars my brilliant supernova Alia Bhatt and is directed by the genre’s kaleidoscope genius Karan Johar.”

Karan Johar has already piqued interest in his directorial debut with a teaser announcing his comeback. “At the same time, this is the start of a new trip and my route back home.
