Kajol made her acting debut in 1992 with Rahul Rawail’s Bekhudi and went on to star in films like Baazigar, Yeh Dillagi, Karan Arjun, Diand lwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Gupt, Khan, Fanaa and My Name is Khan is among the most popular films in the country right now. In an earlier interview, the performer, who has had multiple successes, told PTI that she became an actor by happenstance.

“I didn’t get off to a good start. My first film was a flop. I never thought about acting as a profession; it came to me and I simply went with the flow. I was always on my toes (when selecting a film) and have always been picky. I had a terrific experience working on all of the films and met some incredible individuals. I still consider my job to be a game, and I prefer to do it at home “In 2019, she said.

Kajol was most recently seen in the 2021 Netflix feature Tribhanga, with Tanvi Azmi and Mithila Palkar. She is now working on Salaam Venky, Revathi’s forthcoming feature.
