Kareena Kapoor bumps with a high school buddy in Kalimpong and shares photos from her 1996 trip.

Kareena Kapoor is presently filming her next film in Kalimpong, West Bengal. She ran into an old school buddy and shared a snapshot with her, as well as images from their 1996 Rajasthan school trip. Kareena is presently filming her OTT first feature, Suspect X, which is inspired by the novel of the same name.

Kareena was 14 when she enrolled at Welham Girls’ School in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. Kareena was questioned about why her mother, Babita, sent her to boarding school in an old interview with Barkha Dutt. She said, “I was around 14-15 years old, and I liked this child.” My mother was unhappy, and as a single mother, she said, ‘This is not going to happen.’ I wanted to go out with my buddies and meet this person. Mum had gone out to eat. I was able to break the lock with a knife like a genuine locksmith, enter the room, seize the phone, make preparations, and flee the home. That’s how horrible it was.”

Kareena shared her boarding school experience, saying, “I believe it was amazing.” The sort of exposure, freedom, and independence I got there really grounded me a lot for the film business in a manner because there you are completely alone…you have to make your own decisions…there is no mom and dad or anybody looking out for you.”

Kareena is in Kalimpong filming the cinematic adaption of one of Keigo Higashino’s most celebrated stories, The Devotion of Suspect X.Producers Jay Shewakramani, Akshai Puri, and Thomas Kim all lent their backing to the film’s director, Sujoy Ghosh. Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma will also appear in the flick.
