Karisma Kapoor has posted a new selfie on Instagram. The actor is seen in the photo wearing no make-up. Karisma’s fans praised her selfie, with some saying they couldn’t believe she was 48 years old.

Karisma captioned the photo, “Mood is au natural (which loosely translates to in its natural state, without anything added).” Shibani Dandekar, a reality TV personality and actor, commented, “Beauty.” “OMG!” exclaimed one fan. And she’s 48… she’s stunning.” Other fans praised her and described her as a “natural beauty,” “beautiful,” and “timeless.” One fan wrote a line from her song Bholi Si Surat from her film Dil Toh Pagal Hai. As a fan said, “With innocence on her face, playfulness in her eyes, she’s standing far away and shy,” she added.

Karisma Kapoor is the eldest child of veteran actors Randhir and Babita Kapoor. Karisma made her Bollywood debut in 1991 with Prem Qaidi, but she did not appear in front of the camera until Nishchay, which was released a year later. She made her debut with none other than Salman Khan and Reema Lagoo. Karisma discussed her first experience in front of the camera in an old interview.

This has been a long time coming for me,” she exclaimed. It was lovely. We did a small scene with Salman Khan and Reema Lagoo. The director is wonderful; he’s so nice and sweet. Everyone made me feel very welcome. That was my first time in front of a camera. I’d never given a screen test to anyone before.”

She went on to star in a number of box office hits, including Jigar, Anari, Raja Babu, Coolie No. 1, Saajan Chale Sasural, and Jeet. She won the Filmfare Award for best actress in 1996 for her performance in Raja Hindustani alongside Aamir Khan. Her work in Dil Toh Pagal Hai earned her both a Filmfare Award and a National Film Award for best supporting actress.

She is set to make her comeback in Abhinay Deo’s upcoming web series Brown, which is billed as her comeback. She was most recently seen in a cameo appearance in the 2018 film Zero.
