Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan were spotted together at an award ceremony

Last night, Bollywood celebrities Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan, rumoured ex-lovers, attended the OTT Play awards 2022. Throughout the award ceremony, the two sat next to each other, and a video of them conversing and laughing is circulating on the Internet.

Kartik, who won Best Actor for his portrayal in the Netflix film Dhamaka, is seen holding his prize in the viral video. The two appear to be engaged in a serious discussion, but Kartik’s giggling reveals the truth. Sara also received the award for Breakthrough Performance by a Female for Atrangi Re.

Following their appearance together, fans urged that they star in a film together. One fan remarked, “They are too adorable, we need them together in a movie pleasessssss,” while another fan wrote, “This is my Aashiqui 3 pair.”

Kartik recently confirmed that Anurag Basu will direct his upcoming film, Aashiqui 3. The female lead of the film has not yet been named, but rumours are circulating about her. Basu recently spoke to India Forums regarding the film’s casting, saying, “Well, I’ve also heard similar rumours. Nevertheless, we are still in a very early stage. Currently, we are considering several additional facets of filmmaking. Casting will be finalised later.”

Currently, Kartik is filming Satyaprem Ki Katha opposite Kiara Advani. Sara will next be seen with Vicky Kaushal in an untitled film by Laxman Utekar.
