Ram Gopal Varma sees ‘Liger,’ a film starring Vijay and Ananya Panday.

Vijay Deverakonda, the South superstar, is ready to make his Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s ‘Liger.’ He filmed extensively for the film with leading woman Ananya Panday, and filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma got the opportunity to see a few clips of the picture before its release. “Saw portions of @KaranJohar presented #PuriJagan directed and @Charmmeofficial produced LIGER,” RGV said in his review of the film. @TheDeverakonda looks like a SUPERCROSS between @pawankalyan (Pawan Kalyan), @urstrulyMahesh (Mahesh Babu), @RaviTeja off (Ravi Teja), and @iTIGERSHROFF (Tiger Shroff).”

Following that, the filmmaker expressed gratitude to director Puri Jagannadh for presenting Vijay Deverankonda in such a magnificent manner. “The SCREEN PRESENCE of @TheDeverakonda in LIGER is GREATER than any STAR I have seen in the previous two DECADES,” RGV said. #PuriJagan and @Charmmeofficial, thank you for bringing it out.”

When asked if he was satisfied with the way his Bollywood debut, ‘Liger,’ was planned, Vijay told, SeetaGeeta”I’m not someone who works on plans.” I knew I wanted to be a part of the tale as soon as I heard the screenplay. And making a pan-India film made sense since it was a narrative that I believe the entire country would appreciate. We increased the scale because I felt ready. We put it up that way because everyone was on board. It was not, however, a conscious decision to enter Bollywood. The term ‘Liger’ was coined by accident. “Ananya is lovely!” the actor said about his co-star. She puts forth a lot of effort and does an excellent job. She’s an entertaining co-star.”
