Satyaprem Ki Katha teaser: Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s reunion promised to be “the musical romance of the year”

In the new movie Satyaprem Ki Katha, Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani will work together again after the huge success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 last year. In the first clip for the movie, which came out on Thursday, it was called “the musical romance of the year.” Kartik plays a guy named Satyaprem, and Kiara plays a girl named Katha.

The one-minute video doesn’t give away the story, but it does show how emotional the film, which is directed by Sameer Vidwans, will be. As the two characters travel across the country to exciting places, there are parties, fights, and even heartbreaks. Several scenes look like they take place in Kashmir, where the beautiful scenery sets the stage for the action.

We also see the players get married, dance at a party, and go on amazing bike rides. In the first half of the teaser, Satyaprem gives a romantic voiceover. In the second half, a song plays in the background while different shots are shown.

This is Kartik and Kiara’s second movie together after the horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which was a big hit. The movie, which was directed by Anees Bazmee and made more than Rs 250 crore globally, is often given credit for getting people in North India back to the movies after the pandemic. Satyaprem Ki Katha doesn’t look anything like that movie. Instead, it looks more like Kartik’s failed copy of Love Aaj Kal. He was last seen in the movie Shehzada, which did not do well at the box office or with critics. Kiara was last seen in the movie Govinda Naam Mera.

Satyaprem Ki Katha also stars Supriya Pathak Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant, and Shikha Talsania. On June 29, the movie will be shown in cinemas.
