Shaitaan, starring Ajay, crosses ₹100 cr worldwide, ranking third in Hindi film business in 2024

The worldwide box office earnings of Shaitaan, a supernatural thriller starring Ajay Devgn, have surpassed 100 crore. In five days, Shaitaan reportedly grossed approximately 80 crore in India and 20 crore internationally, according to Sacnilk.com. This makes it the third Hindi film to achieve the milestone this year, following Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. Furthermore, it is the seventh Indian film of 2024 to surpass the ₹100 crore worldwide gross mark.

The inaugural 100 crore film by Jyotika

Shaitaan is the third consecutive film in the post-Covid-19 era, following Drishyam 2 and Bholaa, to surpass the century mark at the worldwide box office, according to the portal. He has also appeared in expanded roles in blockbuster films such as RRR and Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Shaitaan is the inaugural film over 100 crores for Jyotika, which signifies her return to Bollywood after an absence of over two decades. R Madhavan, meanwhile, reaches this milestone with his third film in the esteemed society. Vikas Bahl also amassed his second 100 crore grosser, following Super 30, which featured Hrithik.

Shaitaan’s collection of India

Shaitaan, which debuted in India on Friday at ₹14.75 crore nett, grossed ₹18.75 crore nett on Saturday, according to the portal. The net earnings of the film on Sunday were approximately 20 crore. Shaitaan grossed 7.25 crore net on its inaugural Monday. The horror thriller grossed approximately ₹6.5 crore on Tuesday and ₹6.25 crore net on Wednesday.
