Shanaya Kapoor: It’s crucial to understand a character’s skin and honesty.

Shanaya Kapoor, the daughter of actor Sanjay Kapoor, is getting set to break into Bollywood. Naturally, the 21-year-old is ecstatic.

“I’m very enthusiastic about the project and can’t wait to start shooting it. I’ve done a few readings with my director and we’ve had a lot of conversations about my character brief and scene breakdown “, Shanaya stated.

Shanaya’s debut film is directed by Shashank Khaitan and will be produced by Karan Johar’s Productions, as is the case with many of the industry’s newcomers. In the film, a rom-com love triangle, she stars Gurfateh Pirzada and Laksh Lalwani.

Before the film goes on the floor once lockdown is lifted, the debuting actress has been preparing for it.

“I think it’s vital to understand a character’s skin and honesty,” she added.

Shanaya learned about filmmaking and how film sets work while working as an assistant director on the Jhanvi Kapoor-starrer ‘Gunjan Saxena.’

Shanaya will make her Bollywood debut later this year, but she is already a social media phenomenon. On Instagram, she has a fan base of 741k people.

“Social media and internet interaction has grown quite popular,” Shanaya remarked.
