Shehnaaz Gill Wants to Work With Ranbir Kapoor Again, Says ‘I Have Never Met Him But…’

Shehnaaz Gill

Shehnaaz Gill began a new chapter in her life in 2023. She made her major Bollywood debut in April with Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, and she followed it up with the sex-positive comedy Thank You For Coming, in which she appeared with Bhumi Pednekar, Shibani Bedi, Dolly Singh, and Kusha Kapila. Although the films did not do well at the box office, she received a lot of attention for both. She has made waves for deviating from her desi persona with her edgy and stylish choices.

As the year comes to a close, we look ahead to see what Shehnaaz Gill has planned for her future career. In an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, she stated that 2023 was an interesting year for her, one that opened her eyes and changed her viewpoint on life. “I have experienced some degree of personal growth, although not necessarily to the fullest extent.” In the past, I shown immaturity. “I have gained the expertise and abilities to efficiently handle and tackle particular situations,” she clarified.

After working with Salman, she is looking forward to checking off a box that has been on her mind for a long time. “I intend to work with all of the superstars in the future.” But if I had to pick someone, it would be Ranbir Kapoor. “Although I have not had the opportunity to personally encounter him, I have observed his presence at various gatherings,” she clarified.
While she remained tight-lipped about her next Bollywood ventures, Shehnaaz Gill claimed that she no longer fears auditioning and has learned that it is the only way for her to land the films and roles she desires. “I wouldn’t go in for auditions before Bigg Boss,” she explained. I’m now available for auditions. Previously, I was unaware of the importance of auditioning. Now I understand.”

So, how does she intend to deal with rejection? “Rejection is a natural part of our lives.” Even if I am rejected, I am confident that I will gain a lot from the experience. Rejections, in my opinion, are necessary. “We shouldn’t be afraid of failure because it’s a necessary part of life,” said the actor, who rose to fame with Bigg Boss 13.

“Success isn’t everything,” the 29-year-old continued, “we should fail sometimes too.” We’ll accomplish whatever destiny has in store for us. And destiny always has some fantastic things in store for us.

But she is pleased with how she has successfully changed people’s perspectives and perceptions about her. “When people associate you with a certain image and then you defy that, they are shocked,” Shehnaaz explained. It’s only after a while that they begin to look at you differently and see you’re capable of so much more. Acceptance requires time. People now recognise me as more than simply a desi girl.”
