Sidharth Malhotra to attend Himalayan Film Festival for ‘Shershaah’

Sidharth Malhotra, a Bollywood actor, recently visited the 1st Himalayan Film Festival in Leh, Ladakh, where his critically praised film “Shershaah” was the opening film! Shri Anurag Thakur, the honorable Minister of Information and Broadcasting, was also present.

“Inaugurated the 1st Himalayan Film Festival with ‘Shershaah’ today,” the actor said on Instagram, with a few photos. It was a true privilege to share the platform with Mr. Anurag Thakur, our honorable Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting. Thank you very much for hosting us.”

Meanwhile, Sidharth will next be seen in the film ‘Mission Majnu,’ starring Rashmika Mandanna. The actors had just completed filming on the film and had thrown a party to celebrate. ‘Mission Majnu,’ as the film is known, is based on true events from the 1970s. Sid plays a RAW agent in the film, while Rashmika’s role has been kept under wraps for the time being.

With his alleged girlfriend Kiara Advani, who portrayed Dimple Cheema, and other crew members, the actor also toasted the success of ‘Shershaah.’ The film, directed by Vishnu Vardhan, is based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra (PVC), and features Shiv Pandit, Raj Arjun, Pranay Pachauri, Himanshu Ashok Malhotra, Nikitin Dheer, Anil Charanjeett, Sahil Vaid, Shataf Figar, and Pawan Chopra. The picture was released on a large scale.

The tale of Param Vir Chakra awardee Vikram Batra was told in the film Shershaah, which debuted on Amazon Prime Video. Batra, also known as the Kargil hero, was killed in the 1999 Indo-Pak conflict. When the Vishnuvardhan-directed film was released on the major OTT platform on August 12, it was met with critical praise.
