Vicky Kaushal’s new movie Sardar Udham to release OTT

Vicky Kaushal has revealed that his forthcoming film Sardar Udham would be available on Amazon Prime Video in October. The actor made the announcement on social media. The film was originally set to be released in January of this year. The film was previously known as Sardar Udham Singh, but the Singh has since been deleted from the title. Amol Parashar also appears in the film, which is directed by Shoojit Sircar and produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar. Vicky Kaushal’s new movie Sardar Udham to release OTT.

Sardar Udham has recently finished dubbed by Vicky Kaushal. The Uri actor came to Instagram today, September 23, to announce that his forthcoming film would have a direct-to-OTT release.

He wrote, “My heart is filled with love as we bring to you the story of a revolutionary. This October, watch #SardarUdhamOnPrime, @primevideoin 

Sardar Udham is a film on the life of Sardar Udham Singh, a freedom warrior most remembered for assassinating former Lieutenant Governor of Punjab Michael O’ Dwyer in 1940. The assassination was carried out in retaliation for the horrific Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar on April 13, 1919.

Vicky Kaushal’s new movie Sardar Udham Singh was supposed to hit theatres in January 2021. The video will now be available on Amazon Prime Video.

Sardar Udham is a heartbreaking tale of vengeance that follows the path of a brave man who ensured that the world never forgets the lives of his beloved comrades who were cruelly murdered in the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre of 1919.
