When Priyanka hears Choli Ke Peeche in Los Angeles, she wonders, ‘Why wasn’t I invited?’

Priyanka Chopra has released a video from her Los Angeles home in which the Bollywood song Choli Ke Peeche can be heard in the background.

Priyanka Chopra posted a video on her Instagram Stories from her Los Angeles home. The star is not seen in the video, which depicts a vista from her home with the Bollywood song Choli Ke Peeche playing in the background. The actress now resides in the United States with her husband, actor-singer Nick Jonas, and their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.

Priyanka captioned the video on her Instagram Stories, “Memorial Day weekend in LA… “How come I wasn’t invited?” The video shows the scenery around Priyanka’s luxurious home. She seems to be filming the video from her terrace. “Memorial Day weekend,” she is heard saying. What’s the source of this music? Let’s get started.”

Despite residing in the United States and establishing herself in Hollywood, Priyanka stays true to her Indian heritage. She enthusiastically celebrates Indian holidays, publishes images of herself dressed in Indian attire, and is also extremely close to her Indian friends in the United States.

In an interview, she told Rasha Goel, “You can take me out of India, but not India out of me. My culture, or who I am, simply kind of follows me around in a bubble everywhere I go. It’s because of this that I’m never far from home. My house is always with me, as is my mandir (altar), my mother is always with me, and my achaar (pickles). So you already know I’m OK. I never feel like that.”

Priyanka Chopra’s mother, Dr. Madhu Chopra, talked earlier this month about why the star keeps Indian culture and customs alive in her US home. There are a lot of misunderstandings about India, and she wants to dispel them. They think we’re home to just a few exotic creatures like maharajas, elephants, and snake charmers. We have the greatest education, information technology, and medical technology. Who is going to teach this? Our culture, our ceremonies, everything has a lot of good in it. She believes in them and works hard to keep it up,” she told Hauterfly magazine in an interview.

Priyanka Chopra will now appear in the Bollywood flick Jee Le Zaraa. Farhan Akhtar will helm the film, which will include Priyanka, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif on-screen together for the first time. She is also working on the Hollywood films Ending Things and It’s All Coming Back To Me.
