Hrithik Roshan begins filming for ‘Vikram Vedha’ on Dussehra
Actor Hrithik Roshan began filming for his upcoming film ‘Vikram Vedha’ at the festival of Dussehra on Friday.
Hrithik took to Instagram to share two photos in which he informed his followers about his new beginnings. “Sharing my love with everybody as we begin a new 1st day today…,” he said with a video of stunning dawn.
The planned project is a Hindi adaptation of the Tamil film ‘Vikram Vedha,’ which was released in 2017. The film is directed by the same people that made Pushkar-Gayathri, and it is produced by Neeraj Pandey’s Friday Filmworks in collaboration with Reliance Entertainment and Y Not Studios.
The film’s filming date was also announced on Y Not Studios’ official Instagram account. On Y Not Studios’ social media page, a message said, “It begins! #VikramVedha.”
The film also features actor Saif Ali Khan. In the film ‘Naa Turn Jaano Na Hum,’ the two previously shared screen time (2002).
Meanwhile, Hrithik recently appeared in public to show his support for Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, who is now incarcerated. On October 3, the NCB detained him in connection with an alleged narcotics case. Hrithik sent a lengthy letter to the celebrity youngster in which he offered crucial life advice. “My beloved Aryan,” he wrote in part of his message. Life takes you on a weird journey. It’s fantastic because it’s unpredictable. It’s fantastic because it throws curve balls at you, yet God is kind. He only assigns the most difficult balls to the most difficult players. When you can feel the strain to hold it together in the middle of turmoil, you know you’ve been selected.
And I know you must feel it now. The anger, the confusion, the helplessness. Aaah, the very ingredients that are needed to burn the hero out from inside you.”
