Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes have called it quits.

On Thursday, Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes announced the end of their two-year romance. Despite the fact that they were only romantically coupled for two years, they have been songwriting partners and dear friends since 2014.

Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes, who had been dating for over two years, have announced their breakup in a joint statement. Both have revealed the same information on their Instagram accounts.

The statement went on to read, “Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever ❤️ We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. we so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward ❤️❤️❤️ – Camila and Shawn”

Mendes and Cabello started dating in July of this year and released a song called ‘Senorita’ together. The news broke only days after Shawn and Camila published lovey-dovey photos from the set of ‘Halloween.’

“That’s basically when the entire f—-ing saga started,” Cabello recalled in the documentary, after promoting the song and conducting a “Jingle Ball” tour that winter.

They began dating in July of this year. Both performed a sizzling performance of their subsequent duet, “Senorita,” at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles on November 24, 2019.

They’ve spent a lot of time together in recent months, including dressing up as a couple for Halloween. In September, the two shared a kiss while performing in New York.

In July, both musicians used Instagram to commemorate their wedding anniversary.

“Here’s to more pleasure, friendship, and love,” Cabello wrote at the time, using a red heart emoji.
