Henry Cavill, well known for his portrayal as Superman in DC Comics, has shown interest in playing the Marvel character Captain Britain. The actor stated that exploring a modernized version of Captain Britain, the British equivalent of Captain America, would be a lot of fun.

Cavill has indicated an interest in playing Captain Britain in Marvel’s Captain Britain.

“I’m never going to name a Marvel character that’s already being played by someone else because everyone’s doing such a wonderful job,” the actor told the Hollywood Reporter. However, I have access to the internet and have read numerous rumors regarding Captain Britain, and it would be a lot of fun to produce a great, modernized version of it, similar to how Captain America was modernized. That’s a lot of fun, and I really enjoy being British.”
