Kangana Ranaut warns Diljit Dosanjh he’ll be imprisoned for “helping” Khalistanis

Kangana Ranaut

Kangana Ranaut once more directed her guns at Diljit Dosanjh. In conjunction with Punjab Police’s crackdown on radical Sikh preacher and Waris Punjab De leader Amritpal Singh, Kangana posted a warning for actor and singer Diljit. She told him “pols aagai pols” by appropriating the phrase from a trending social media meme.

Kangana distributed a post from Swiggy India over her Twitter and Instagram Stories accounts. It displayed a variety of pulses along with the phrase “pulse aagai pulse.” In her tweet, she tagged Diljit and added “just saying.” She placed a Khalistan sticker with the word crossed out to Instagram Stories. In addition, she said, “Diljit Dosanjh ji legislators aagai pols.”

Amritpal Singh and his associates were the targets of an operation launched by the Punjab Police on Saturday. There has been a total of 114 arrests in this case, according to the police, and there is a strong suspicion of ISI involvement and foreign funding.

The Ludhiana lawmaker Ravneet Singh Bittu has accused Diljit of aiding the Khalistanis in the next 2020 election. When asked about his identity, Diljit had replied, “I am an Indian taxpayer who has always stood close by with the country and Punjab in times of need.”

In 2020, Kangana has already engaged in an online battle with Diljit. It began with him referencing her tweet in which she incorrectly identified Bilkis, the face of the Shaheen Bagh protest, as an elderly woman at the present farmers’ protest. He also responded to Kangana’s remarks against him, in which she urged him to clarify that he is not a Khalistani, but he refrained from doing so. Diljit called it all a ‘drama’. “They watch Television while claiming to be patriotic. They speak as though the entire country belongs to them alone. Punjabis have sacrificed their life for the nation whenever the need arose. God forbid, if it’s necessary today, we’ll do it again. And these Punjabis are so irritating,” he added in a tweet written in Punjabi. In an interview with Republic TV’s Arnab Goswami, Kangana stated, “I publicly dared him to mention just once that you are not a Khalistani, but he did not. The youth have been deceived; they have been given a dream about Khalistan.”
