Kareena Kapoor says of Laal Singh Chaddha, “my Jeh baba is very much a part of it.”

Kareena Kapoor revealed that her younger son Jehangir Ali Khan appears in the Laal Singh Chaddha trailer, which was released on Sunday.

Kareena Kapoor has finally released the trailer for her upcoming film, Laal Singh Chaddha, starring Aamir Khan. The trailer, which debuted during the IPL final on Sunday, is reminiscent of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump, as it is an official remake of the Hollywood film. Kareena also revealed that her younger son Jehangir is in the film.

Kareena said of the trailer, “A pandemic, two lockdowns, and a baby later… one of my most special films… also because my Jeh baba is very much a part of it” (in my tummy). Thank you Advait and Aamir for including not just me, but both of us… it’s something I’ll remember forever. Finally, over to you… #LaalSinghChaddha.”

Saba Ali Khan, Kareena’s sister-in-law, and actor Preity Zinta both left heart emoticons in the comments section.

During the filming of Laal Singh Chaddha, Kareena was pregnant with Jehangir (Jeh). Last February 21st, he was born.

Advait Chandan, who previously worked with Aamir on Secret Superstar, directed Laal Singh Chaddha. The film, which is produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Kiran Rao, and Viacom18 Studios and stars Mona Singh and Chaitanya Akkineni, will be released in theatres on August 11, 2022.
