Sheezan Khan says the Shraddha Walker murder case ended his relationship with Tunisha Sharma

Sheezan Khan reportedly told authorities that he decided to discontinue his relationship with the late actor because he was’so troubled by the mood in the country following the murder of Shraddha Walker by her live-in lover Aaftab Poonawala. According to the actor, he informed Tunisha that their relationship was unsustainable owing to their distinct religions and age difference. Tunisha was discovered deceased on December 24 in Vasai.

Sheezan Khan reportedly informed Waliv police on his first day in detention that he discontinued his connection with Tunisha after viewing media coverage of the Shraddha Walker murder case. Sheezan reportedly stated after an interrogation that Tunisha had already tried suicide after their split. Tunisha and Sheezan reportedly broke up two weeks before she was discovered dead on the set of a television show in Mumbai. “Tunisha had recently attempted suicide a few days before her death, but I saved her and instructed Tunisha’s mother to take special care of her,” Sheezan was cited as saying by ANI, citing police sources.

In connection with Tunisha’s suspected suicide, a court in Vasai, Maharashtra, placed actor Sheezan Khan in police detention for four days on Sunday. Following his detention for assisting a suicide, Waliv police brought him before the court. The case against him was registered under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code.

Waliv Police report that on December 24, Tunisha was discovered dead on the set of her television series. The cops discovered no suicide note at the scene, as reported by ANI. Earlier, investigators speculated that Tunisha’s recent separation from Sheezan could have been the cause of her alleged suicide. According to the FIR, the two actors were in a relationship that ended 15 days ago. According to Mumbai police, Tunisha was reportedly under stress, and it is believed that this contributed to her claimed suicide.

Earlier, the police transported both Tunisha and Sheezan’s mobile phones to a forensic lab to collect their calls and chats and determine what transpired between them before Tunisha’s death, as reported by ANI. The police interviewed Tunisha’s mother, Vanita Sharma, and her maternal uncle. Vanita Sharma, Tunisha Sharma’s mother, was quoted by ANI as saying, “Sheezan cheated on Tunisha; he was involved with another woman, but he was still with Tunisha. Sheezan should be punished; he should not be spared.”
