Shehnaaz Gill and Bhumi Pednekar’s Film Is About to Start Its Second Leg in Mumbai; Karan Kundrra’s Cameo Has Already Been Filmed?

With a slice-of-life film, the husband of filmmaker and producer Rhea Kapoor, Karan Boolani, who has been closely associated with Anil Kapoor Film and Communication Network Pvt Ltd, is making his directorial debut. Boolani had previously directed 24, a television series based on the American serial of the same name, and Selection Day, a Netflix original series based on the 2016 novel by Arvind Adiga.

It is well known that Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Shehnaaz Gill will star in the upcoming feature film directed by Boolani. There are also widespread rumors that actor and television host Karan Kundrra is one of the main characters in the production. A source, however, has exclusively confirmed to News18 that he has a cameo in the film. If rumors are to be believed, this is his second collaboration with Pednekar, with whom he played a romantic interest in Alankrita Shrivastava’s Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakta Sitare, scheduled for release in 2020.

He had concluded filming in Mumbai perhaps 10 to 12 days prior. He makes an unusual presence in the project as a guest star. It marks his return to the film industry after hosting the reality television series Bigg Boss 15 and Dance Deewane Juniors.”

We have also learned that the film’s first schedule was shot in Mumbai over the course of twenty days. Details about Pednekar and Gill’s roles and relationship in the untitled film are still under wraps, according to a source “Last month, they shot for a song in a Lower Parel bar and lounge. Bhumi wore a red dress, while Shehnaaz wore a purple and white combination as they danced to a lively song. They got along like two peas in a pod.”

Pednekar is currently filming Mudassar Aziz’s next feature with her The Ladykiller co-star Arjun Kapoor in the United Kingdom, but our source informs us that the second session of Boolani’s directorial effort will begin this month in Mumbai. Uncertain if the actor from Badhaai Do would be a part of this schedule. Following the second segment of the film’s production, a ten-day segment will be shot abroad.

In footage shared online by a paparazzo account, Gill, Kundrra, Boolani, and producer Rhea Kapoor were seen cutting a cake at the film’s first schedule wrap celebration, which took place recently.
