Kajol dances alongside the “original dancing queen” Madhuri Dixit in a Diwali celebration video
The who’s who of Bollywood was there at Manish Malhotra’s Diwali party. Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor to Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif. However, actresses Kajol and Madhuri Dixit had “too much fun on the dance floor.” Many celebrities, including Karan Johar, Malaika Arora, Ananya Panday, Suhana Khan, and Shanaya Panday, attended the party at the residence of fashion designer Manish Malhotra in Mumbai on Thursday evening.
Friday, Kajol uploaded an Instagram Reels video of herself and Madhuri dancing to ABBA’s “Dancing Queen.” Madhuri, who appeared at the Diwali celebration with husband Dr. Shriram Nene, donned a saree, as did Kajol, who wore a purple and black saree with shimmer. In the clip, Kajol and Madhuri could be seen singing and moving to the classic English song while facing the camera.
Kajol shared the video with the following caption: “With the real Dancing Queen! Thank you, Madhuri Dixit, for helping me enjoy myself so much on the floor… Manish Malhotra, thank you for facilitating this. I wish everyone a (joyous) pre-Diwali celebration! “In response, Madhuri replied on her post, “It was my absolute delight. You are fantastic. Happy Diwali guys! ” The two were also seen sitting with Raveena Tandon and other guests while dancing to Bollywood music.
Fans and celebrities alike reacted to Kajol and Madhuri’s adorable social media interaction and Diwali antics. Saba Ali Khan, the sister of actor Saif Ali Khan, commented on Kajol’s post, “Love the ridiculous moment that only you can create! Happy pre-Diwali! Hugs…” Another remark said, “When your two absolute favourites are together.”
This year’s Diwali celebrations in Bollywood kicked off with numerous celebrities hosting star-studded parties at their Mumbai residences. Kriti Sanon and Ayushmann Khurrana have recently thrown Diwali parties. Thursday, Taapsee Pannu also celebrated Diwali with a gathering at her home. Khushi Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, Nora Fatehi, and Aditya Roy Kapoor, in addition to Ibrahim Ali Khan, Radhika Merchant, Shloka Ambani, Arpita Khan, and Ayush Sharma, attended Manish’s celebration.
