Everyone was surprised that the actor also chose black for tonight’s launch event. In a video from Chennai, she can be seen getting out of her car while wearing a black salwar suit and a black dupatta. She didn’t tie her hair back and added a bindi to finish off her look. She smiled at the reporters who were set up on the red carpet and waved to her fans.

Karthi and Trisha Krishnan, two other actors, have also arrived at the venue. Chiyaan Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, and probably some others will join the cast soon. Ponniyin Selvan will come out in two parts. The first part called Ponniyin Selvan: I or PS-I will be shown in theatres on September 30. There will be Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi versions. The movie is based on the Tamil novel Ponniyin Selvan by Kalki.

The last time we saw Aishwarya was in the 2018 movie Fanney Khan. Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao were also in it. In PS-I, she will work with Mani Ratnam again, and for the first time, she will play two different roles.
