Avatar: The Way of Water trailer: James Cameron demonstrates what a real CGI masterpiece looks like

Wednesday, legendary Hollywood filmmaker James Cameron revealed the debut teaser for the highly anticipated science fiction action blockbuster Avatar: The Way of Water. James Cameron posted the teaser on Instagram with the remark, “This December Pandora awaits. #AvatarTheWayOfWater.”

Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement, and Kate Winslet feature in Avatar: The Way of Water. On December 16, 2022, 20th Century Studios will release the film in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

In September, during the D23 Expo, James Cameron debuted many sequences from Avatar: The Way of Water, the second installment in his epic science-fiction trilogy.

The 3D sequences were shown on two enormous screens in the main Anaheim Convention Center room where the studio’s presentations with Disney siblings Marvel and Lucasfilm were conducted, according to Deadline.

Cameron and Josh Friedman wrote the screenplay for the sequel to the 2009 Academy Award-winning epic adventure “Avatar,” which debuted in theatres 13 years ago.
