Jai Shree Ram is a fast-paced devotional song for the Akshay Kumar thriller Ram Setu

The song Jai Shree Ram from Akshay Kumar’s forthcoming film Ram Setu has been released. Composed and performed by Vikram Montrose, with lyrics by Shekhar Astitwa, the song is a high-energy devotional song that appears to be in harmony with the film’s public advertising materials.

The images in the music video are nearly identical to those in the trailer. The film also features Satya Dev, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Nasser, Pravesh Rana, and Jennifer Piccinato, in addition to Akshay. Abhishek Sharma, director of The Zoya Factor and Tere Bin Laden, directed the film.

The film Ram Setu is set for release on October 25. The film will compete alongside Thank God, starring Ajay Devgn, Siddharth Malhotra, and Rakul Preet Singh. Despite the competition, film industry expert Taran Adarsh has already predicted that both films will have successful opening weekends at the box office. “Ajay and Akshay are both A-listers and well-established celebrities with massive fan bases. So I suppose the film will have a strong start because of Diwali, but its success will ultimately depend on its content.”

Girish Johar, a trade analyst, said that Ram Setu may command a price range of Rs 16-18 crore. Film distributor Akshaya Rathi stated to indianexpress.com, “Diwali is an ideal time to release films with two superstars. Moreover, this is a moment when medium and low-budget films also attract an audience. This is a popular time for individuals to go out with their friends and family, therefore we must provide them with many movie options. Therefore, there should be something for all populations.”

Ram Setu is the sixth film that Akshay has released this year, following Bachchhan Pandey, Samrat Prithviraj, Cuttputlli, and Raksha Bandhan. None of these films earned well at the box office, making Akshay’s year incredibly average. This came as a surprise to the business, particularly since his 2021 film Sooryavanshi was the first major hit after theatres resumed operations following the closure.
