India will host the Miss World 2023 beauty event for the first time in 27 years

Miss World 2023

Miss World 2023 will be held in India. This will be the first time in almost 30 years that the prestigious international beauty event has been held in the country.

The much-expected 71st Miss World pageant is likely to happen in November of this year, but the exact dates have not yet been set.

India had the world pageant for the last time in 1996.

“I am thrilled to tell you that the 71st Miss World Final will be held in India… We can’t wait to show the rest of the world your unique and different culture, world-class sites, and beautiful places.

At a press conference on Thursday, Julia Morley, chairperson and CEO of the Miss World organisation, said, “The 71st Miss World 2023 will show off the achievements of 130 national champions during their one-month journey across ‘Incredible India’.” This will be the 71st and most spectacular Miss World final ever.”

During the month-long event, contestants from more than 130 countries will take part in a number of tough competitions, such as talent shows, sports challenges, and acts of charity, all of which are meant to show what makes them ambassadors of change.

Karolina Bielawska of Poland is the current Miss World. She is in India spreading the word about the beauty pageant, and she said she is excited to hand over her crown in this “beautiful country” that shares the same ideals as Miss World.

India is the friendliest nation. I’m here for the second time, and you make me feel like I’m at home. You both believe in the same things, like variety and unity. Your most important values are family, respect, love, and kindness, and we would love to show the world that. Miss Globe 2022 said, “There is so much more to see here, and inviting the whole world here for a week in order to show what India has to offer is the best idea.”

Sini Shetty, who is the current Miss India World and will represent the country in the high-stakes competition, was just as happy and excited about India holding the event.

“I can’t wait to meet all of my sisters from around the world and welcome them to India to show them what India is, what it stands for, and how diverse it is… I’m very excited and can’t wait to go on this trip.

India has won the coveted title six times: in 1966, with Reita Faria, in 1994 with Aishwarya Rai, in 1997 with Diana Hayden, in 1999 with Yukta Mookhey, in 2000 with Priyanka Chopra, and in 2017 with Manushi Chillar.
